Savage Insider is focused on the Savage Worlds tabletop role-playing community. Issues frequently include contributions from SW licensees. It has it’s own page on Facebook and Google+, as well as a newsletter.
Savage Insider is published once seasonally, plus once in November as a Pay What You Want issue. Started in 2011 by Aaron T. Huss of Mystical Throne Entertainment, he and his then-assistant editor, Vickey A. Beaver, developed SI as a mainstay of Savage Worlds news and debuts. Today, Savage Insider is published by Obatron Productions under license from MTE and is led by Editor-in-Chief Vickey A. Beaver.
Psionics is a tabletop roleplaying game using the DicePunk System, which was featured in our ENnie Nominated Phantasm (2010).
In Psionics, PCs take on the role of troubled youth with tremendous psychic powers; hunted by The Man, coming to grips with their own unique abilities, the characters must navigate a volatile world with even more volatile gifts.
End Transmission Games is excited to be unveiling a kickstarter campaign for their upcoming game, Psionics.
Following in the footsteps of Akira, Firestarter, Scanners, and Chronicle, Psionics is a game about troubled youth with tremendous psychic powers.
Psionics is designed under the DicePunk system, a d6-based pen and paper RPG system used in the ENnie Nominated Phantasm 2010. Please check out End Transmission Games’ facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/EndTransmissionGames, or their twitter at ETGames, for news about this exciting project.

Creating memorable NPCs can be a difficult task; creating marginally interesting NPCs in-the-moment can be even more challenging. The Non-Player Cards Project is more than a gamer tool, it’s an inspiration tool, full of great art and writing suitable for any setting and system.
Consisting of 300 cards, the deck is broken out into 8 categories, allowing you to create almost 50 trillion unique character combinations. What’s even better is that, the project offers more than just cards. If you prefer just the text, the project offers a Reference Booklet. And, if you prefer art, you can get the KS exclusive Art Book (or even the Deluxe Art book).
The project is around for only a few more days. So, if you need an inspiration tool that will help create a personable character or help spicing up an existing NPC, this tool is for you.
Fragged Empire – is now on Kickstarter, funded within 12 hours!
“Betrayed by your creators, you are a genetically engineered remnant, emerging from the ruin of genocidal war…” sets the scene as players emerge from 100 years of brutal tribalism & savagery after a terrible war and are just now returning to space.
Fragged Empire follows four non-human races as they seek to build a new society after barely surviving a genocidal war. As an example one of the playable races (the “Nephilim”) are the descendants of the genetically engineered army that all but wiped out civilisation.
Wade Dyer has been working on Fragged Empire for the last four years with the goal of creating a stylish and exciting sci-fi tabletop game with his excellent eye for design. “I really want the art in my book to show 2 things. Firstly, it needs to convey the tone of the setting; beautiful, modern, detailed, subtle depth, but vibrant & fun. That mix of energy & grit. Secondly, it needs to convey the passionate craftsmanship that has gone into this book.” – Wade
Glittercats Fine Amusements to release Early Edition of Bunny Money Gunny at GenCon
Glittercats Fine Amusements is happy to announce that an “early edition” of our first game, Bunny Money Gunny, will be available for sale through the IGDN booth at GenCon 2014.
Bunny Money Gunny is a fast-paced, back-stabbing mini-game for three players who must hop, blast, and cash in on their way to victory. The game was designed by Stentor Danielson, with art by Cynthia Lee.
We hope that a strong showing at GenCon will provide the impetus to bring a revised and expanded edition of Bunny Money Gunny to Kickstarter in 2015.
